Hormone releasing factors and releasing hormones are  signaling molecules produced by glands in multicellular organisms. The glands that secrete Luteinizing hormones LHRG and LH, FSH comprise the endocrine signaling system. The term growth hormone releasing hormone GHRH is sometimes extended to include chemicals produced by cells that affect the same cell (autocrine or intracrine signaling) or nearby cells (paracrine signaling). Human recombinant LHRG and GHRH are produced in E. coli or in yeast cells. The receptors are ligand binding factors of type 1, 2 or 3 and protein-molecules that receive chemical-signals from outside a cell. When such chemical-signals couple or bind to a receptor, they cause some form of cellular/tissue-response, e.g. a change in the electrical-activity of a cell. In this sense, am olfactory receptor is a protein-molecule that recognizes and responds to endogenous-chemical signals, chemokinesor cytokines e.g. an acetylcholine-receptor recognizes and responds to its endogenous-ligand, acetylcholine. However, sometimes in pharmacology, the term is also used to include other proteins that are drug-targets, such as enzymes, transporters and ion-channels.

Parathyroid hormone/parathyroid hormone-related peptide receptor, also known as PTH1R, PTHR, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PTH1R gene. PTHR is a member of a family of G protein-coupled receptors. PTHR gene was mapped to the vicinity of the 3p21.3-p21.2 boundary by PCR analysis of human/rodent somatic cell hybrid panels using oligonucleotide primers designed to amplify a portion of the gene from genomic DNA. This is a receptor for parathyroid hormone and for parathyroid hormone-related peptide. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase and also a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. PTH1R functions as a receptor for parathyroid hormone and for parathyroid hormone-related protein.

Storage condtions

Keep the Parathyroid Hormone Receptor 1 Antibodyat minus twenty degrees Celsius for 1 year. The ready-to-use solutions can be stored at four degrees Celsius for a month. Our specialsits recommend to freeze the aliquotes at minus twenty degrees Celsius for long-term application. Multiple procedures of freezing and thawing influence the specifity and reactivity of the antibody in a negative way.

The Parathyroid Hormone Receptor 1 Antibody did not cross-reacted with other proteins during the test procedures. This antobdy is intended to be used for research analyses and it is not applicale for in vitro diagnostics.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human Parathyroid Hormone Receptor 1(388-406aa KLRETNAGRCDTRQQYRKL), identical to the related mouse and rat sequences.

If you buy Antibodies supplied by boster they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.

The powdered antibody should be dissolved in 0.2 ml of distilled water to achieve final concentration of 500ug/ml
